18 Mar 2008 - Visitors to P7

P7 pupils have been studying World War 2. In particular, what life was like on the Home Front.

They've found out about rationing, air raid shelters, the work that women did during the war, evacuation and lots more - including learning songs that were ppopular at the time. 

On Wednesday 12th March, P7A and P7B had some visitors in to talk about their lives as children during World War 2.

Both classes enjoyed it. We had some interesting questions answered and we learned more information about World War 2.

The afternoon ended with the visitors having tea and scones in the meeting room.
